1 Selection:
ö Selection of the target communities according to the following modified criteria:

at least technical secondary or General Secondary degree; |

* Residence: |
should be from the same community where CID is to be implemented; |

* Gender: |
both males and females; |
|
* Personality: |
committed, broad minded and energetic person. |

* General knowledge: |
acceptable level. |

Basic training courses for the selected field workers. 3 Needs Assessment, and selection & training of Development Committees:ö
Needs Assessment using participatory Rapid Appraisal [PRA].ö Selection and training of Development Committee members.
4 Planning:
ö
Field Workers (F.W.), Development Committee members (D.C.), local people, facilitated by the Regional Coordinator, work upon the outcome of the Needs Assessment to design a proposed plan, taking into consideration the available resources. The proposed plan is submitted to the Management Team to be discussed and approved. 5 Implementation:ö
